MINIMUM DAY NOTICE
Please join us for Back-to-School Night scheduled on Thursday, August 29, 2024. August 29th is a minimum day. All students will be dismissed at 1:14 PM.
The schedule for Back-to-School Night will be as follows:
5:00 PM Principal’s Welcome in the cafeteria/Title 1 Information
5:30 PM Classroom Visits – Session 1
6:00 PM Classroom Visits – Session 2
Knowledge is Power! Encourage your child to read!
Our Scholastic Book Fair will begin on Monday, August 26-August 30 and will be open during Back-to-School Night from 5:00-6:30 PM. Students may visit the book fair during their lunch break or after school until 3:00 PM.
El Vista Parent Club
Our Parent Club will be selling and taking orders for school t-shirts and sweatshirts.
Fundraiser
Once again, we will welcome Guillermina who will be selling Aguas Frescas. Part of the proceeds will go to the school. Please support our school and buy a refreshing drink!
Back-to-School Night is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and learn about the goals and expectations for the school year.
We hope to see many of our families at Back-to-School Night!

The Modesto City Schools IETS Help Desk will be open during summer Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, effective from June 5th through July 14th. Offices will be closed on June 19th and July 4th due to holidays. We will be back to our normal scheduled hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM starting Monday July 17th.
